PHOTO NEWS: SB officials place Columbio town under the “state of calamity”

COLUMBIO, Mindanao — Officials of the Municipality of Columbio, led by Mayor Edwin Bermudez and Vice Mayor Amirh Musali, urged the town residents to cooperate with the authorities and appealed for support and unity against the deadly COVID-19 disease.

They made the appeal after the 18^th Sangguniang Bayan (SB) members adopted the SB Resolution No. 2020-55 declaring the entire municipality under the “state of calamity.” The adoption was made by the said council upon the request of Mayor Bermudez, who cited the “pandemic corona virus” and the President’s proclamation as the bases of the said declaration.
