DPWH XII Regional Director Basir M. Ibrahim issued a Regional Memorandum dated March 19, 2020, urging all DPWH officials and employees in Region 12 to adopt “Precautionary Measures to Prevent the Spread of the Novel Corona Virus 2019 (COVID-2019).
In response, Sultan Kudarat 1st District Engineering Office adopted several anti-COVID-19 measures to shield its employees against the possible virus infection that maybe brought by the flow of the people going “in” and “out” of the premises of the district compound.
One of the measures adopted is the practice of personal protection and hygiene thru hand sanitation with 70% alcohol for all employees and non-employees before entering the district compound. Under said measures, everyone passes the district compound gate should abide to it. No one can gain entry without their hands subjected to alcohol sanitation.
“Obedience is one of the keys to win our fight against the coronavirus,” OIC-Assistant District Engineer Alihar A. Mama stressed.
Engr. Mama further said that aside from alcohol hand sanitation, the district office also adopted the flexi-time schedule of employees, temporary suspension on the use of biometric scanning for daily attendance, social distancing, and unessential meetings and gatherings.
