200 katutubo sa Tacurong City nakatanggap ng mga libreng-serbisyo mula sa SKPMFC, 43rd SAC at 4th SAB ng PNP-SAF

TACURONG CITY, MINDANAO — Aabot sa 200 na mga miyembro ng Indigenous People (IP) sa Purok Negros sa Barangay San Pablo sa siyudad na ito noong March 7, 2020 ang nakatanggap ng mga pagkain, mga gamot, serbisyo medikal at iba pang mga libreng-serbisyo, tulad ng manicure, pedicure at gupit mula sa “community-based outreach program” ng 43^rd Special Action Company (SAC), 4^th Special Action Battalion (SAB) ng PNP-SAF at Sultan Kudarat Provincial Mobile Force Company (SKPMFC).

Sa 200 na mga katutubo, 100 sa kanila ay mga bata na tumanggap ng mga pagkain, tulad ng arrozcaldo, tinapay at juice mula sa “feeding program” ng nasabing mga tropa ng PNP.

Sa press statement na ipinadala ni Patrolwoman Mary Eileen Butista, PCAD-PNCO ng SKPMFC, sa DIYARYO MILENYO, sinabi nito na ang pamamahagi nila ng mga pagkain at pagbibigay ng libreng mga serbisyo sa nasabing mga katutubo ng Purok Negros sa Barangay San Pablo ay bahagi ng kanilang “sustainable applicable and friendly approach” upang ipakita sa mga katutubo na ang gobyerno, sa pamamagitan ng PNP, at ang pribadong-sektor ay “nagkakaisa” upang sila ay tulungan at ipadama sa kanila na ang PNP at “kaibigan” na handang tumulong sa kanila kahit anong oras.

Ang nasabing mga pribadong-sektor ay ang Sultan Kudarat Doctors Hospital Inc. (SKDHI), POIMEN Foundation, BPI Bayan, Tungas Tribu Galang Mountaineers, Kiwanis Group of GenSan at ang The Fraternal Order of Eagles Tacurong City.

Kasama rin ng tropa ng PNP sa nasabing community outreach program nito ang Tacurong City Police Station (TCPS).

Ang 43^rd SAC at 4^th SAB ng PNP-SAF ay nasa ilalim ng pamamahala ni Police Captain Amado B. Espina at ang operation officer naman nito ay si Police Lieutenant John Paul B. Agod.
