
PHOTO NEWS: PICE DISTRIBUTES MEAL PACKS, PPEs AND CASES OF BOTTLED MINERAL WATERS TO ANTI-COVID FRONTLINERS IN SULTAN KUDARAT PROVINCE
SULTAN KUDARAT, Philippines — The Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) in Sultan Kudarat province chapter distributed food packs today to the health workers, security forces and barangay volunteers serving as “frontliners” in mitigating the ill-effects of “coronavirus,” officially known as “COVID-19.”
Engr. Alihar A. Mama, newly-elected president of the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) in Sultan Kudarat chapter, said today that officials and members of PICE distributed 300 meal packs of Jolibee, 50 pieces of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and 15 cases of bottled mineral waters to the frontliners manning the various strategic checkpoints in the towns of Isulan and Esperanza and Tacurong City.
Aside from the checkpoints, the PICE also distributed food packs, PPEs and bottled mineral waters in the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Isulan and Sultan Kudarat Provincial Hospital (SKPH).
“Assisting the frontliners in their food needs is PICE way of sharing its kindness to people doing unequalled efforts in saving lives of others by putting themselves in the danger of being infected by COVID-19,” Engr. Mama said after handing-over dozen meal packs of Jolibee, several pieces of PPEs and bottled mineral waters to the police troops manning the checkpoint near the Sultan Kudarat State University (SKSU) campus in Barangay EJC Montilla in Tacurong City.
