
PHOTO NEWS: PICE-QATAR Chapter nag-donate ng 28 sacks of rice para sa mga residente na apektado ng COVID-19
MAGUINDANAO, Philippines — Hindi dahilan ang malayong distansya para tumulong sa mga nangangailangan. Ito ang pinatunayan ng mga opisyal at mga miyembro ng Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE) sa bansang-Qatar.
Ayon kay Engr. Ely Pendaliday, isang miyembro ng PICE-Qatar Chapter na kasalukuyang nasa Pilipinas at nagtratrabaho sa isang ahensya ng gobyerno, humingi siya ng ayuda sa PICE-Qatar Chapter para sa kanyang mga kababayan na apektado ng “quarantine” at “lockdown” dahil sa COVID-19.
“Mabilis yung response nila at kaagad sila nagpadala ng pera para ibili ng sako-sakong mga bigas para ibigay sa mga kababayan ko dito sa bayan ng Datu Abdullah Sangki sa probinsya ng Maguindanao,” sabi ni Engr. Pendaliday sa interbyu sa kanya ng DIYARYO MILENYO via messenger.
Ayon kay Engr. Pendaliday, sa perang ipinadala ng PICE-Qatar Chapter, nakabili siya ng 28 sacks of rice at ini-repack na iya sa tagli-limang kilo.
“Bale 140 households lahat ang nabigyan namin noong April 15, 2020. Lahat sila residente ng Barangay Talisawa ng bayan ng Datu Abdullah Sangki.
