Abagatanen is located in the municipality of Agno in the province of Pangasinan. It’s 283 km from Edsa Cubao, and it will take around 4 to 5 hours to reach the hidden white beach. Many private and public resorts offer affordable accommodation for two or large groups. If cooking is allowed in your accommodation it’s better to buy fresh meat and veggies at the nearest Wet and Dry market to save money instead of buying at the resort, which will cost you a lot.

The beach offers serene and tranquility to all visitors. A river called Lasud connects to the sea.

There is a bamboo raft floating house in the river where you can stay and feel the serenity of the beach and take pictures.

There’s also Kubo and tent to rent if you want to dine in and enjoy the ocean breeze. Nearby resorts are offering meals and beverages too.

ACTIVITIES
The white sand is very inviting to play volleyball,  a P100.00 rental fee for an hour of usage. Kayaking and boat ride are also one of the attractions; you also need to pay a rental fee to enjoy these water activities.

TOURIST ATTRACTION
Crystal clear water, a significant feature of the beach, of course! The rock formations are amazing. Some visitors said there is a cave near the rock formations.

SUNSET AND SUNRISE
The sunset will give everyone a quiet moment. This is the time where beachgoers stop for a while and witness the romantic vibe of the place.

And during sunrise, someone is painting to the sky. The orange-like view is mesmerizing; it is magnificent!

When we left the beach that morning, I realized that there is a paradise on earth. You need to open your eyes and let your feet wander. (WORDS & PHOTOS BY: RINALYN MAGLALANG)
