Ilang characters ng Nickelodeon nakiisa sa pagdiriwang ng Pride month.

Ipinagdiriwang ng mga kapatid nating LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Queer, Intersexual, Asexual) ang Pride month ngayong buwan ng Hunyo kung saan nakiisa ang ilang characters ng Nickelodeon.

Ayon sa twitter post ng Nickelodeon, ang ilang characters na nakiisa sa pagdiriwang ay sina Korra (of Avatar: The Legend Of Korra), Spongebob Squarepants, at Schwoz Schwartz (of Henry Danger).

Ikinatuwa naman ito ng ilang netizens at mahigit 90,000 ang nag-retweet at mahigit 255,000 likes ang inabot ng naturang tweet.

Ayon naman sa report ng People.com ibinunyag ng creator ng Spongebob na si Stephen Hillenburg ay isang asexual.

Inihayag din ni Hillenburg ang isyu na pino-promote nila ang homosexual lifestyle.

“We never intended them to be a gay. I consider them to be almost asexual. We’re just trying to be funny and this has got nothing to do with the show”, Ayon sa creator. (Ni BENJAMIN DUCAY GARCIA)
