Father's Day Special: Mensahe para kay Tatay

Itay, Tatay, Tatang, Papa, Daddy, o Pudra. Iba’t iba man ang disposisyon na sumasalamin sa kahusayan ng ating mga Ama. Patunay ito na kahit ano pa man ang itawag natin sa kanila ay iisa lamang ang tinutukoy; ang pagiging tunay na padre de pamilya sa kanyang asawa, mga anak at maging sa mga apo.

Itinuturing na ang buwan ng Hunyo ay buwan ng kalalakihan. Hindi lamang ang mga Ama ang ating binibigyang pagkilala at pagtanaw sa kanilang kahusayan at pagiging masipag sa pagbabanat-buto. Maging ang mga nagsilbing pangalawang Tatay o step father, Tito, Ninong at Kuya sa kanilang paggabay at pagmamahal. Kaya naman, nangalap ang DIYARYO MILENYO sa mga nagnanais na iparating sa DM ang kanilang mga mensahe ngayong Father’s day. Narito ang ilan sa mga nagbahagi ng pasasalamat sa kanilang mga Tatay;

Dear Papa,

I have so many things I want to share with you but I don’t know where to start. Well, I think I’ll just start by thanking you for all the wisdom and life lessons you’ve shared with me. I am sorry for all the mistakes and wrong decisions I’ve done in my life. Thank you for being so forgiving and loving us unconditionally. You and Mama are the only person who stood by our side when the world left us behind. I cannot guarantee that from this day forward I will be the good son you’re expecting me to be. For sure I’m gonna commit more mistakes nor indecisiveness and immaturity. But please be there for us Papa. I will do my very best to fight this battle so-called life. There’s a saying, “Any man can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a dad.” We are so blessed and grateful that you are our Tatay. A Tatay of 11 children, a Lolo of 22 grandchildren (and counting, hehe), and a great mekaniko of our lives. Someone like you should be cared for and loved. You have already done your part as our provider of everything. Now, it is our time to give back to you and nanay of what we can give too. We’re very sorry for not achieving what’s best for us as your children. But what we all know is to love you back and keep you alive and happy no matter how the circumstances in our lives we’ve been through. May God give you long life and good health.
