DPWH in Sultan Kudarat holds silent prayers for the country’s frontliners as it celebrates the agency’s 122nd foundation anniversary today

ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat — Officials and employees of the first district engineering office of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Sultan Kudarat province marked the agency’s 122nd foundation anniversary today by holding a “silent prayer” ceremony for all the frontliners.

They said it’s their way of honoring the sacrifices made by the frontliners and other volunteer health workers who continue leading the fight against the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

The holding of today’s silent prayer is in line with the directives of Public Works and Highways Secretary Mark Villar to all district engineering offices across the country to dedicate the celebration of the department’s 122nd foundation anniversary to the frontliners and to the efforts of the government in fighting the deadly virus.
