COTABATO, Philippines — DATU KALIM MALAGONOY DIKA a.k.a. BAPA NI ODIN was recognized as Datu of Pamikitan (now Barangays San Mateo, Milaya, Minggading and Kilangan in Aleosan, Province of Cotabato).

His son Odin Kalim was a graduate of BS Forestry from UP Los Baños, Laguna(FR) and MSU Main Campus in Marawi City(BSF). The late Forester Odin retired as Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer of DENR Region XII.

Odin’s wife is Educator Evelyn Solon ( a scion of the prominent Solon Clan of Bacolod, Cebu and Mindanao). Another son is a retired Professor of MSU-Maguindanao Ustadz Ameril Kalim married to Bai Pandakan Sumagka of Talitay, Maguindanao. (BY DATU TUNGKO M. SAIKOL via Mindanao Desk)
