TOURISM: City Councilor Mylene Bascon-De Guzman attends “soft opening” of “Bong Gumne De Muhon Nature Park” in Koronadal City
KORONADAL CITY, Philippines — If the “breath-taking sea of clouds” and the ethnicity of nature are in your bucket list for a tourist destination trip, then you have the reason to visit Koronadal, the component city of South Cotabato province and the administrative seat of Region 12.
It has several tourist spots waiting for you, and one of it is the newly-opened privately-owned “Bong Gumne De Muhon Nature Park” located in Sitio Datal Fitak in Barangay Assumption, known for its cool weather, fresh air and spectacular overlooking views.
City Councilor Mylene (who prefers to be called “Inday Mylene”) Bascon-De Guzman, a beauty queen-turned public servant, took a quick escape from the city proper and headed her way up to the Bong Gumne De Muhon” to attend its “soft opening” last July 18, 2020.
“It was really fun while touring the nature park and making ‘selfie’ in its viewing decks,” Inday Mylene told The Mindanao Desk of DIYARYO MILENYO in an interview via her facebook messenger.
For Inday Mylene, it’s like ‘dating” yourself with the serenity of nature while having the comfort of the fascinating sea of clouds. “It’s really beautiful. The place is so calm. The overlooking views would really drive you to take more flashes of your cameras for mementos.”
“It’s a good place to visit for those who are finding adventure with nature,” Inday Mylene said. (Rashid RH. Bajo via Mindanao Desk)
