SENATOR NINOY AQUINO, Sultan Kudarat — Residents of Barangay Tinalon of this town happily accepted the food packs from the family of Mayor Randy Ecija Jr.

“Madamo gid nga salamat sa padayon nga suporta nga ginahatag mo sa amon nga mga pumuluyo (Thank you Mayor Ecija for always helping us),” said Manang Gloria, one of the Tinalon residents who received food pack dustributed by the mayor’s father and mother.

The distribution of food packs for Tinalon residents is part of Mayor Ecija’s birthday.
It was made possible through the help of his older sister Mrs. Rochelle Ecija-Eugenio and her husband Dr. Dante Eugenio, a known “Opthalmologist” and philanthropist in Sultan Kudarat province.

Ma’am Che-Che told The DIYARYO MILENYO that the money they used to buy rice, sardines and noodles comes from their own pocket.

She said “sharing the blessings” is part of Ecija family’s tradition.

“Alam ng mga tao sa SNA kung paano kami tumulong at patuloy kaming tutulong dahil bahagi yan ng tradisyon ng aming pamilya,” Ma’am Che-Che said.
Ma’am Che-Che stressed that “no one becomes poor by giving or sharing to others.” (RASHID RH. BAJO)
