LDS-LGU, DPWH-12, NCMF distribute relief goods to 600 Muslim families in Koronadal City

KORONADAL CITY, Philippines –– A total of 600 Muslim families in this city received relief goods from the National Commission of Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).

In a press statement posted in its facebook page, it said that the “National Commission of Muslim Filipinos (NCMF) – Koronadal Field Office and NCMF-Lanao staff Engr. Ali Tabao facilitated the distribution of relief goods to 600 Muslim Filipino residents in Koronadal City.”

Koronadal is the regional center of Region 12 and the charter city of South Cotabato province.

“Most of the recipients were street vendors, IDPs, and pedicab/tricycle drivers,” the press statement said.

Governor Mamintal Alonto Adiong Jr. of Lanao del Sur province provided the rice while DPWH-12 Regional Director Engr. Bashir Ibrahim gave the grocery items.

Each pack contains five kilos of rice and grocery items.
