
Female governor heads the ARESCOM-CDC’s biggest reserve battalion in Maguindanao

DATU ODIN SINSUAT, Maguindanao (BARMM) — The new reservist commander of 1203rd Community Defense Center (CDC) – Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion (RRIBn) based in Maguindanao province is a woman.
In a change-of-command yesterday (Monday, Nov. 16) inside the AFP’s Kampilan Division in Awang of this town, Lieutenant Colonel Bai Mariam Sangki-Mangudadatu, PA (RES) assumed her new post as commander of the 1203rd CDC-Maguindano RRIBn.
Lt. Colonel Mangudadatu is the current governor of the province of Maguindanao.
Army’s 6th Infantry Division Commander Major General Juvymax Uy presided the ceremony.
Lieutenant Colonel Suharto “TENG” Mangudadatu, PA (RES), the commanding officer of the 1202nd Ready Reserve Infantry Battalion of the CDC-Regional Community Defense Group (RCDG) based in Isulan town was also present during the ceremony.
