
1st District Engineering Office of the DPWH in Sultan Kudarat province donates nearly 10,000 cc of bloods to the SKPH, DOH

ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat –– Twenty–one (21) workers of the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) in Sultan Kudarat province voluntarily shared their bloods today to save the lives of others.
Abdul Siokon, provincial blood program coordinator of the Sultan Kudarat province, they are thankful to the twenty–one (21) employees of the 1st District Engineering Office of the DPWH for their “generosity” to share their bloods during their blood–letting activity today.
“Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyong lahat sa pag–donate ng inyong mga dugo,” Siokon told The Diyaryo Milenyo.
He also thanked the 1st DEO officials, led by District Engineer Amer T. Pundag, MPA and Assistant District Engineer Alihar A. Mama, for supporting the joint blood–generation program of the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Hospital (SKPH) and Department of Health (DOH).
Siokon said his team collected nearly 10,000 cc (21 personnel x 450 cc per bag) of various types of blood from the 21 workers of the DPWH-SK 1st DEO.
Today’s voluntary blood–letting activity is a support of the DPWH to the “Voluntary Blood Donation Drive” of the DOH to generate more bloods in this time of pandemic crisis. (ABDUL CAMPUA)
