Rep. Dinand Hernandez turned-over 17 projects amounting to P106-M last month in South Cotabato province

KORONADAL CITY, Philippines ­–– In the month of January (2021) alone, Deputy Speaker Atty. Ferdinand “DINAND” Hernandez has turned-over a total of 17 projects amounting to P106-Million in his congressional district  in South Cotabato province.

The said projects were implemented through his efforts and initiatives as congressional representative of the second district of the province.

The data was based on the series of turnover ceremonies he led from January 11 to 19, this year. Those ceremonies were posted in his official Facebook account.

The said projects were built in the Municipalities of Surallah, Sto. Nino, Norala and City of Koronadal, the regional seat of Region 12.

Of the 17 projects, ten (10) were implemented in Koronadal City, four (4) in Surallah, two (2) in Sto. Nino and one (1) in Norala.

The Diyaryo Milenyo (DM) learned that fifteen (15) of his initiated projects were composed of municipal open gymnasium, mini-gymnasium, gymnasium, bleachers and rubberized floor paint, bleachers, bleacher and extension of gymnasium and multi-purpose building. It has a total allocation of P26.2-Million

Two (2) of the 10 projects initiated by Congressman Hernandez in Koronadal City were the construction of two riverbank protection dikes (already in its second phases) worth P79.5-Million that aimed to protect the lives and properties of residents, the farmers and their crops against the threats of floodwaters.

Last year, Congressman Hernandez also turned-over numerous projects ranging from gymnasium, health center, birthing facilities, barangay halls in various barangays of the second district.

This year, Congressman Hernandez said he will turnover more projects where people could directly benefit to it. (RASHID RH. BAJO)
