8,500 Individuals nabakunahan na ayon kay Nograles

MANILA, Philippines — Nakapagbakuna na sa mahigit 8,500 individuals sa ating bansa kontra COVID-19 gamit ang Sinovac vaccines, ayon kay Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles kahapon, Huwebes, Marso 4.

“As of yesterday, a total of 8,559 individuals have received the first doses of the Sinovac vaccine, which were administered from March 1 to March 3 in 32 different sites in the National Capital Region,” saad ni Nograles sa online briefing nito.

Sinimulan ng Pilipinas ang pagbibigay ng bakuna mula nang matanggap ang 600,000 doses ng Sinovac vaccines, CoronaVac na donasyon mula sa Chinese government.

Ayon pa kay Nograles, naihatid na ang mahigit 189,600 na bakuna sa mga designated vaccination centers sa buong bansa.Sinabi naman ni Vaccine czar Carlito Galvez Jr. na kanilang pagsusumikapang mabakunahan ang lahat ng health workers sa bansa sa buong buwan ng Marso.

Samantala, dumating na sa Pilipinas ang mahigit 487,200 doses ng AstraZeneca vaccines na donasyon mula sa World Health Organization-led COVAX facility nitong Huwebes ng gabi. (Ni Rex Molines)
