ACTIVE COVID-19 CASES SA HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, UMAKYAT NA SA 29

MANILA, Philippines — UMAKYAT na sa 29 ang active cases ng coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) sa House of Representatives kahapon, Martes, Marso 16.

Dahil dito, sinabi ni House Secretary General Mark Llandro Mendoza na ang lahat ng pagpupulong na kanilang pag-uusapan ay gagawin na lamang ito sa pamamagitan ng videoconferencing.

“We are not looking into a lockdown. We are implementing all safety measures to address the current COVID situation,” pahayag ni Mendoza.

Aniya, karamihan sa mga aktibong kaso ng virus ay mild lamang ang sintomas.

Bukod pa rito, sinabi ni Mendoza na binawasan ni Speaker Lord Allan Velasco ang bilang ng mga empleyado na mag-rereport sa kamara hanggang 30% poryento para makaiwas na rin sa banta ng pagkahawa sa virus.

Magsisimula aniya ang kanilang sessions ngayong Marso 17, Miyerkules hanggang alas 6:00 p.m. ng gabi.

Samantala, umakyat na sa 631,320 kaso ng COVID-19 sa bansa, na may 560,736 naman ang kabuong gumaling, at 12,848 na ang namamatay sa virus at habang 57,736 naman ang aktibong kaso sa bansa. #DM
