Sa isang post sa official Facebook page ng The Cup of Faith, taimtim na panalangin at pakikiramay ang ibinahagi nila sa pamilya Sy sa biglaang pagpanaw ni Jan Catherine na nasawi bandang 6:35 p.m. kagabi.

“Dear family and friends, tonight, March 18, 2021 at 6:35pm, our dearest daughter Jan Catherine Sy is now with the Lord Jesus already. Blessed be the name of the Lord. You give and take away. My heart will choose to say, Lord, blessed be your name!” ito ay mababasa sa kanilang Facebook page.

Nakisimpatiya ng pakikidalamhati si Senador Joel Villanueva sa pamilya Sy sa pagpanaw ng dalaga.
