SC sarado simula Lunes hanggang Holy Week

MANILA, Philippines — INANUNSYO ng Supreme Court (SC) ang pagsasara ng kanilang tanggapan sa Metro Manila at karatig probinsya sa Cavite, Bulacan, Laguna, at Rizal simula sa Lunes, Marso 29 hanggang matapos ang Holy Week.

Nilagdaan ni acting Chief Justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe ang kanilang advisory alinsunod ito sa nakakaalaramang pagtaas ng COVID-19 cases sa bansa. Kabilang din ang Court of Appeals, Court of Tax Appeals, Sandiganbayan, at ang trial courts.

Ang lahat ng mga hearing sa nasabing korte ay temporarily suspended maliban sa ilang mahahalagang pagtatalakay gaya ng petitions, motions, and pleadings related to bail and habeas corpus, promulgation of judgments of acquittal, tulong sa mga naaresto at nakaditine sa loob ng mga nabanggit na araw.

Dagdag pa ni Bernabe na maaari namang matawagan ang kanilang tanggapan sa hotlines and email addresses na makikita sa kanilang official SC website para ma-accommodate ang mga mahahalaga usapin at iba pa.

Maglalabas ang Korte Suprema ng kanilang notice and guidelines para sa safety concerns ng kanilang court personnel and litigants ayon pa kay Bernabe. #DM
