Sputnik V vaccine, ilalagak sa mga LGU’s na may higit na storage facilities

Inaasahan na makatatanggap na ng Sputnik V vaccine ang Pilipinas sa susunod na Linggo, na ilalagak sa mga local government unit na may mga pasilidad para sa kailangan na storage requirements nito, ayon sa Department of Health (DOH) nitong Sabado.

“Itong ganitong klaseng storage ay hindi makikita sa lahat ng lugar sa Pilipinas. Kaya pagdating ng Sputnik V meron lang po tayong mga assigned local governments that will receive because they have the capability to store this kind of vaccines,” saad ni DOH Spokesperson Maria Rosario Vergeire.

Ang Coronavac at AstraZeneca ay pananatilihin sa mga regular storage facilities na may two to eight degrees.

Sinabi naman ni Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. Nitong Huwebes [Abril 22] na ang initial na 15,000 Sputnik V doses ay darating ngayong araw, Abril 25. Ang iba pang batch na may 480,000 doses ay darating sa bansa sa Abril 29 kasama pa ang 500,000 na Sinovac vaccine.

Sinabi pa ni Galvez na ang 195,000 doses ng Pfizer vaccine mula sa COVAX facility ay darating sa katapusan ng buwan ng Abril.

Makatatanggap rin ang bansa ng 1 to 2 million Sputnik V shots sa Mayo at 2 million naman sa Hunyo, dagdag pa ni Galvez.

Aniya, nabanggit din ni Galvez na ang initial na 194,000 doses ng Moderna vaccine ay darating sa Mayo. #DM
