MAGUINDANAO, Philippines — Governor Bai Mariam Sangki-Mangudadatu expressed her reaction against “terrorist attack” in Datu Paglas town in this province, calling it as an act of “offending the sanctity of the Ramadan, where all the Muslim nations are focusing on the goodness of Allah (SWT) to humanity.”
Governor Mangudadatu condemned the attack in its “highest form” and assured the people that she will not stop to end today’s violence in the province.
“Let us continue to strive for the zenith of the new morning and let not this incident hamper our daily lives to feed our families,” Governor Mangudadatu said.
She added that “The Provincial Government will continue to bring stability and progress to our beloved community.”

“Again, terrorists calls the attention of the public and the government by occupying the public market of a peaceful and self-reliant municipality of Datu Paglas.”
“They again sow fear and terror to the populace. However, the government will not ponder and will not stop to end this violence. Time and again, the government will always find ways to bring back normalcy in the province, the government will find solutions to this conflict as what we have done so in the past.”
“These kind of activities as we all know is a product of selfish and inhuman doctrines that is not in any way sanctioned by culture, tradition much more of religion. It is a result of vested and evil motive to offend the sanctity of the month of Ramadhan where all Muslim Um’mah are focusing on the goodness of Allah SWT to humanity.”
“Finally, for and in behalf of the people of Maguindanao, and of the Municipality of Datu Paglas in particular, we CONDEMNED IN ITS HIGHEST FORM this terroristic attack on our very own public market and on this very day in the holy month of Ramadhan.”
“Surely, Islam is a religion of peace and in no way that this cruelty to Maguindanaoan will not be dealt with.”
