DUMATING na sa Pinas ang 15,000 second doses ng Sputnik V vaccines kontra COVID-19 mula sa Russia, nitong Miyerkules ng gabi, Mayo 13.

Sa nakalap na impormasyon mula sa GMA News, dumating ang naturang bakuna bandang alas 9:00 p.m ng gabi sa NAIA Terminal 3 sa Pasay.

Sinabi ni Food and Drug Administration Director Eric Domingo na ang mga dumating na Sputnik V vaccine ay bilang Component 2 o second doses ng bakuna.

“Component 1 is the first dose, component 2 is the 2nd dose. So we have for 15,000 people,” saad ni Domingo sa isang text message.

Ayon sa DFA, ang mga natanggap na bakuna mula sa Russia Gamaleya Research Institute ay kinakailangang naka-stored sa madilim na silid na may tempertura na hindi lalagpas sa 18°C.

Aniya, ang naturang bakuna ay dapat magamit sa loob lamang ng anim na buwan ayon pa sa DFA.

Aniya, maari itong gamitin para sa edad na 18 pataas.

Nitong Mayo 1, dumating ang unang batch ng Sputnik V na may 15,000 doses sa bansa na nagkaroon din ng pagkakaantala dahil sa logistics issues and flight concerns.

Ang inisyal na dosis ay naibahagi na sa liang siyudad sa Metro Manila sa mga may pasilidad na maiingatan ang naturang bakuna kontra COVID-19. #DM
