SULTAN KUDARAT, Philippines –– An old man, with a big lump on his neck, residing in a remote village in Sultan Kudarat province, is knocking the doors of  generous and kind people to help him.

Tio Linandang, 87 years old, residing in Barangay Mapantig in Isulan, the capital town of the province, is in danger of possible suffocation and starvation if the “lump” will not be removed.

Some of the old man’s relatives said they felt his misery every time they saw the “unexplained growth” on Lolo Tio’s neck getting bigger as the day passed-by.

A relative said Lolo Tio’s family could not bring him to the hospital because they don’t have money to pay for his treatment.

“Mahirap talaga buhay nila,” the relative said. “Gusto ni Lolo Tio na magamot siya at matanggal ang malaking bukol sa kanyang leeg.”
