Ayon sa mga pag-uulat, dumating ang 1,606,000 doses na mga bakuna sa Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 ganap na alas 4:30 p.m. ng hapon ngayong araw.

Ito ay bahagi ng 3.2 million doses ng single-shot J&J vaccine na donasyon ng US sa pamamagitan ng COVAX facility.

Ang second batch ng J&J vaccines ay inaasahan na darating bukas, Sabado [July 17], na may bilang na 3,213,200 doses.

Ayon sa pag-uulat ng Reuters, sinabi na ang Pilipinas ay makatatanggap ng kabuuang bilang na 16 million shots mula sa US sa pamamagitan ng COVAX facility.

Sa kasalukuyan, ang Pilipinas ay nagbigay na ng 14 million doses ng COVID-19 vaccine, nasa mahigit 4 million indibidwal na ang ganap na nabakunahan o fully vaccinated na ng dalawang dosis. #DM
