Na-isolate na ang lima katao na may kaso ng Delta variant ayon kay Cagayan de Oro Mayor Oscar Moreno ngayong Sabado.

“Lima, pero lahat na-isolate namin,” saad ni Moreno sa isang intebyu nito sa Dobol B TV.

Sinabi pa ng Alkalde na ang Cagayan de Oro ay nasa ilalim ng istriktong kwarantina – Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECG) upang maiwasan ang hawaan ng naturang COVID-19 variant.

“Dumating itong balita sa Delta variant. Okay lang sa akin ang ECQ for the sake of caution,” ani Moreno.

Sa karagdagan, sinabi pa ni Moreno na sumang-ayon siya sa pagsasailalim ng Cagayan de Oro sa ECQ dahil sa kapasidad din ng healthcare facilities sa kanilang siyudad.

Sinabi niya na ang pamahalaan lungsod ay nakipag-ugnayan na sa Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) – ang main referral hospital sa Region 10 na dagdagan ang kanilang hospital beds para sa mga kaso ng COVID-19 sa naturang rehiyon.

“Ang allocated sa COVID-19 is less than 30 percent of the capacity. Kaya, nabibigatan ang CDO,” dagdag pa ng Alkalde. #DM
