Binalaan ng Philippine Red Cross ang publiko laban sa pekeng COVID-19 swab at saliva test bookings na magdoble ingat laban sa mga sangkot sa mapanlinlang na transaksyong ito.

Sa online na abiso ng Philippine Red Cross, aniya, umiwas laban sa pekeng Facebook at GCash account ni Secretary General Elizabeth Zavalla.

“The legal team of the PRC is currently investigating the incident of identity theft and will take legal action to the full extent of the law against these offenders who tainted the reputation of Ms. Zavalla and the entire PRC organization,” pahayag ng ahensya.

Hinikayat ng PRC ang publiko na isumbong o ipagbigay alam ang nakababahalang aktibidades ng ganitong uri ng pekeng transaksyon sa kanilang hotline at official website.

“As the premier humanitarian organization in the country, the Philippine Red Cross continues to be the active ally of the government; committed to providing life-saving services that protect the life and dignity especially of indigent Filipinos in vulnerable situations,” paglalahad pa. ###
