DPWH nagtayo ng 2 multi–purpose facility sa Kiamba, Sarangani

Nae–enjoy na ngayon ng mga residente ng dalawang barangay sa bayan ng Kiamba sa probinsya ng Sarangani ang benepisyong–hatid ng proyekto ng ipinatayo ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) doon.

Nae–enjoy na ngayon ng mga residente ng dalawang barangay sa bayan ng Kiamba sa probinsya ng Sarangani ang benepisyong–hatid ng proyekto ng ipinatayo ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) doon.   

Ang nasabing mga proyekto, kung saan ipinatupad ng DPWH–Sarangani District Engineering Office, ay ang dalawang multi–purpose facility sa Barangay Kayupo at Barangay Katubao sa Kiamba.

Sa kanyang report kay DPWH–12 Regional Director Basir M. Ibrahim, sinabi ni District Engineer Jonathan G. Bantug na ang layunin ng pagpapatayo ng nasabing mga pasilidad ay upang magkaroon ang mga residente doon ng lugar na pagdadausan ng kanilang pagtitipon at iba pang “community activities” nila. Ayon kay DE Bantug, ang nasabing mga pasilidad dinisenyo at itinayo upang maging “disaster–resilient” at pwede rin nilang gamitin na “evacuation center” kung panahon ng kalamidad.

Dagdag pa ni DE Bantug, pwede ring gamitin na lugar ng distribution ng mga “self–learning materials” ang pasilidad, kung saan may budget na P3.3–M at P2.8–M. #DM
