Under the leadership and supervision of the Terminal Manager, Engr. Joey P. Ortega, Petron Corporation – Rosario Terminal is the first establishment under utilities industry in Cavite to receive the Safety Seal Certificate, under the Safety Seal program of Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), which grants establishments a Safety Seal to be conspicuously displayed indicating that the building or establishment they are entering are compliant to health protocols against Covid-19.

The said awarding was graced by the Municipal Mayor, Jose Voltaire V. Ricafrente.
“Congratulations to Petron Corporation – Rosario Terminal for taking the lead in the Municipality of Rosario in securing the safety seal certification to confirm the compliances to minimum Public Health Standards as mandated by the government. We follow safety and health protocols against Covid-19”, Ricafrente said.

The Safety Seal Certification means that Petron Corporation – Rosario Terminal adheres to the Minimum Public Health Standards as their contribution in the government’s fight against the corona virus pandemic.
Petron Corporation – Rosario Terminal assures the public that entering their premises will give them confidence that they are safe from the virus and all safety protocols are in place.


Petron Corporation is the largest oil refining and marketing company in the Philippines. They are also considered to have the most advanced facilities in the country, wherein, their refinery processes crude oil into a full range of petroleum products including gasoline, diesel, LPG, jet fuel, kerosene and petrochemicals.

Meanwhile, the Department of Labor and Employment Region IV-A, also awards the Safety Seal Certificate to Petron Corporation – Rosario Terminal last August 31, 2021.
The Safety Seal Certificate issued by DOLE is a symbolism and manifestation of Petron’s compliance with the minimum public safety and health standards to prevent and control COVID-19 transmission in the workplace. ###
