We cannot repudiate or hide the fear, anxiety, struggles and adjustments brought by COVID-19. The spread of Corona Virus stopped and altered our way of living and all our activities. It also created huge impact and changes in businesses, tourism, services, and educational systems worldwide, and safety became everyone’s outmost priority.

The chase to fight the invisible enemy is not easy. The pandemic paralyzed the different sectors causing unemployment, death, and delayed in delivering education. With all these challenges, we have to overcome the fear and anxiety, fight for our safety, and encourage everyone to take part to, at least little by little, uncover solutions or alternatives to continue and keep moving.

Government, private institutions, and different organizations work hand in hand to search for the best solution and to continuously provide for the needs of the people or the nation. Community quarantine was declared nationwide; realignment of national budget was made to help the affected families; hospitals catered a lot of cases; and online services or processes became an instant hit.

Considering these adjustments and concerns, the desire of Filipinos to fight was very noticeable. New normal was introduced; new systems were implemented; and strict rules locally and nationally were mandated and observed for the safety and benefit of everyone. Guidelines about health and safety protocols were published or posted and implemented in all government and private offices or institutions. These made the perpetuation of services in all sectors possible. The best ways to continue are to adjust, adopt, and act.

In order for us to continue, we have to follow the different health and safety protocols. Since the COVID-19 outburst began, people across the country have engaged and followed steps to stay safe. And until the virus is under control and there’s a vaccine to protect everyone from getting it, it’s important to keep into considerations the following precautions especially in the field of education.

Be careful and vigilant. Every day, we cannot avoid going somewhere to accomplish our task, to work, and to avail different services. Though the operation of different industries and educational institutions are back but not on its normal track, still we have to be careful and observant, observe and follow the health and safety protocols being implemented inside the school and other establishments.

Observe social distancing at all times. As you enter the school and even different offices, malls, and other establishments, do not forget to wear facemask, allow the persons in authority to check your body temperature and sanitize your hands.

Validate or assess yourself. Be aware if you have signs or symptoms of COOVID 19. Check your oxygen level at all times and breathing as well. Contact or communicate with the teachers for them to be informed about your health status.

Isolate yourself if you think you have signs and symptoms of COVID 19. This step or initiative will not only save your own life but will also save others by avoiding the spread of the virus.

Take vitamins, eat nutritious food, boost your immune system and get vaccinated. By taking vitamins every day and eating nutritious foods, you can protect yourself. Through vaccination you are lowering the chance of being infected.

Following or doing these steps and precautions are helpful and will lead towards our safety. Together we can fight or prevent the spread of COVID 19. Be careful, be safe, and take part. #DM
