ISULAN, Sultan Kudarat –– Like Robin Padilla, senate hopeful Atty. Salvador “Panyero” Panelo can sing too.

Two nights ago, Padilla, who is running for senator, sang Eric Clapton’s classic “wonderful tonight” before the five finalists of the “Miss Sultan Kudarat 2021,” a finale event on the weeklong celebration of the 48th foundation anniversary of Sultan Kudarat province held last Monday (Nov. 22) evening inside the tin-roofed Sultan Kudarat’s Gymnasium and Cultural Center located in Isulan, the capital town of the province.

Like Padilla, that night, Panelo also took the pageant stage and did the “Sanay wala nang wakas,” a Filipino song popularized by Sharon Cuneta.

The lovely finalists’ eyes were glued to Panelo as he sang the song. His soft voice captured their presence.

Panelo concluded his presence at the pageant night by explaining to the crowd why he ran for senator. #DM
