Pambansang Araw ng Panalangin para sa mga biktima ng bagyong Odette itinakda ng Simbahan Katoliko

Nagtakda ang Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) ng Pambansang Araw ng Panalangin o National Days of Prayer sa ika-25 at 26 ng Disyempre sa mga diyosesis para sa mga biktima ng bagyong “Odette.”

Hinihikayat din ang mga diyosesis na magsagawa ng second collection sa mismong Araw ng Pasko at kinabukasan para makalikom ng donasyon na ibabahagi para sa mga pamilyang lubos na naapektuhan ng bagyong Odette na nagpadapa sa ating mga kababayan sa kabisayaan at Mindanao.

Sinabi ni Bishop Pablo Virgilio David ng Kalookan na ang “Alay Kapwa Solidarity Fund” na malilikom ay gagamitin ng Simbahan bilang collective emergency response.

“We encourage everyone to remit all collections to Caritas Philippines that will then plan and implement our overall response,” ani David. #DM
