Binondo-Intramuros Bridge, magbubukas na sa Abril

Good news para sa ating mga ka-Motorista!

Malapit nang magbukas sa publiko ang Binondo-Intramuros Bridge na pinondohan ng China, ayon sa Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

Ito’y matapos iulat ni DPWH Undersecretary for Unified Project Management Office Operations Emil Sadain kay Secretary Roger Mercado kung saan ay inaayos na lamang ang asphalt resurfacing nito at ang main bridge deck. Ang nasabing tulay ay magbubukas sa darating na Abril 2022.

Sinabi ni Sadain na ang iconic design ng two-way four-lane steel box tied-arch bridge o mala-iconic basket-handle ay maituturing na isang future landmark sa Maynila at maikokonsidera na isa sa pinakamagandang retrato o photographed bridge sa Metro Manila.

Inaasahan naman na mahigit 30,000 na mga motorista ang makikinabang sa proyektong ito, na makatutulong sa paghupa o makabawas ng trapiko sa Intramuros at Binondo Manila.

Ayon pa sa DPWH, tinatayang umabot sa P3.39 bilyon ang pagpapawa ng naturang tulay. #RBM
