Hinihikayat ng DILG ang paggamit ng wikang Filipino sa mga opisyal na komunikasyon at korespondensiya, kung kaya ipinalabas ang Memorandum Sirkular Blg 2022-041, para sa layunin ng pagkakaisa at kapayapaan tungo sa pambansang kaunlaran. Pagtalima ito sa Kautusang Tagapagpaganap Blg. 335, Serye 1988 na nag-aatas sa mga ahensiya ng pamahalaan na gamitin ang wikang Filipino bílang opisyal na wika ng komunikasyon at korespondensiya sa serbisyo publiko.
