4 na Rehiyon sa bansa, Idineklarang State of Calamity

Idineklara ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. sa ‘state of calamity’ ang mga lugar sa Regions 4-A (Calabarzon), 5 (Bicol), 6 (western Visayas), at Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), ayon sa kumpirmasyon ng Malacañang ngayong araw, Miyerkules.

Sa ilalim ng Proclamation 84, magtatagal ng anim na buwan ang mga nabanggit na lugar sa ilalim ng state of calamity hanggang sa ito ay makabangon muli.

“The onslaught of Severe Tropical Storm Paeng from Oct. 26 to 29, 2022 caused the loss of lives, destruction of property, damage to agriculture and critical infrastructures, and disruption of means of livelihood and normal way of life of the populations in the affected areas,” bahagi ng dokumentong nilagdaan ni PBBM na ngayon ay nailathala sa mga pahayagan.

“All government departments, agencies, and instrumentalities concerned are hereby directed to continue implementing and executing rescue, recovery, relief, and rehabilitation measures in accordance with pertinent operational plans and directives,” base pa rin sa nasabing proclamation circular na pinaiiral. ##
