15 NCAA Players Suspendido - Amores makakalaro pa pala?

Inilabas na nang National Collegiate Athletic Association o NCAA ang parusa sa 15-manlalarong sangkot sa nangyaring kagulohan sa court noong November 8, 2022 ng Jose Rizal University (JRU) at College of Saint Benilde (CSB) narito ang listahan;

One (1) Game Suspension

(a) CSB player:

1. Ladis Lepalam Jr.

(b) JRU players:

1. Jason Tan

2. Joshua Guiab

3. William Sy Jr.

4. Jason Celis

5. Marwin Dionisio

6. Jan Marc Abaoag

7. Jonathan Medina

8. Karl De Jesus

9. Christian Gonzales

– for entering the playing court without recognition from the table officials during a brawl

Two (2) Games Suspension

(a) CSB players:

1. Mark Sangco

2. Chris Flores

– for engaging in a fist fight/brawl

(b) JRU players:

1. William Sy Jr. (additional)

2. Ryan Arenal

– for committing disrespectful acts before ManCom representatives while the representatives were pacifying the participants

Indefinite Suspension on John Anthony Amores of JRU for commiting the following acts:

a. Intentionally bumping the referee

b. Pointing a finger at the referee

c. Disrespecting Mr. Paul Supan (JRU ManCom Representative)

d. Disrespecting court officials

e. Charging towards the bench of CSB (Instigating a brawl)

f. Making provocative gestures meant to ignite a fight/brawl

g. THROWING PUNCHES AGAINST FOUR (4) CSB PLAYERS

May ilang netizens ang umalma sa naging hatol para kay John Amores, bakit daw indefinite suspension lang ang ipinataw sa 6’2″ small forward JRU player ibig sabihin makakapaglaro pa pala ulit ito dapat i-ban na sa liga dahil sa kanyang pisikal na inasal sa laro, hindi daw basketball ang bagay kay Amores bagay daw sa kanya maging boksingero nalang. Narito naman ang pahayag ng NCAA ManCom Representative Fr. Vic Calvo ukol sa desisyon ng komitiba kay Amores.

Nagsimula ang kagulohan 3:26 left sa 4th quarter ng laro pasok ang 3-point shot ng Benilde player na si Miguel Oczon habang nakikipagbakbakan sa box out si Amores at nang isa pang #18 Benilde player resulta ng pagkatumba nito sa sahig, doon na nagsimulang uminit si Amores dinuro, pinagsisigawan ni Amores ang referee at pinagsusuntok ang apat na players ng Saint Benilde kahit na inaawat na ito ng kanyang mga kakampi.

Ipinagtanggol naman si John Anthony ng kanyang mga supporters sa social media, kung naging masipat lang daw sana ang mata ng referee sana hindi humantong sa gulo ang lahat, yon lang naman ang ikinagalit ni Amores sa laro dahil hindi tinawagan ng foul.
