After two years of hiatus since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the most prestigious academic competition in Pampanga returns enthusiastically. Throughout the years, UP Aguman’s The Pautakan has served as an avenue for participating Kapampangan students, from elementary to high school, to showcase their brilliance in a set of battles of knowledge and strategy. This competition also instills in students a competitive yet friendly spirit at a young age.

Carrying the theme “Lakdat: King Marangleng Dalan, Manganinag ya ing Bayung Kabiasnan,” The Pautakan 2022 aims to prepare Kapampangan students in setting out to blaze their trail in society as they recognize their prowess as youth.

Three years ago, Pautakan ended with a historic win from the University of Assumption (UA) as they emerged victorious in the Junior High School Division and brought home the highly coveted Oblê trophy for good after accomplishing a three-peat. However, this year, other schools intend to carve their path to be the champion in each division and get a hold of the new revolving trophy, a replica of the UP Oblation statue. Witness this intense battle and discover who will succeed at Chevalier School, Angeles City on November 19 for the Elementary Division and on November 26-27 for the Junior High School Division.
