Senator Mark Villar visits San Pablo City; features two MSMEs in his vlog series

In coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry, Senator Mark Villar personally visited San Pablo City, Laguna last February 3 to conduct an interview with two entrepreneurs to be featured in his vlog series entitled “#MarKabuhayan with Sen. Mark Villar”. 

Sen. Villar’s vlog aims to help promote micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by featuring their products. The DTI-Laguna and the Office of Senator Mark Villar team led the site visit and facilitated the video shooting and documentation of the two identified Laguna micro entrepreneurs who will be featured in the next episodes of #MarKabuhayan vlog series. Mr. Aldrin Chumacera and Ms. Agnes Bicomong from Brgy. Santa Elena and Brgy. San Cristobal, respectively, were asked about the story of their business ventures. 

Chumacera’s macapuno balls and Bicomong’s coco-turmeric tea are the featured products which will be aired on senator’s official Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/@markvillar9123). Food delicacies from Iloilo and Pampanga were also featured in the previous episodes of the #MarKabuhayan vlog series. 

During the said visit, the Office of Senator Mark Villar sponsored these two MSMEs in getting their DTI business name certificates. Senator Mark Villar provided them also with equipment to boost their production and to improve their businesses. 

In attendance during this special visit of Senator Mark Villar were San Pablo City Mayor Vicente Amante, DTI 4A OIC Regional Director Marissa Argente and DTI Laguna OIC Provincial Director Christian Ted Tungohan.
