Sa naganap na pulong balitaan, sinabi ni DOH officer-in-charge Maria Rosario Vergeire na ang kanilang test projection ay base sa kasalukuyang transmission rate ng virus, vaccination coverage at pagtalima sa minimum public health standards ng mga mamamayan.
“Dun sa national daily cases as of April 11 projection, pinapakita that we can have 289 cases up to 611 daily cases by May 15,” ani Vergeire.
Aniya, ang arawang COVID-19 cases naman sa Metro Manila ay maaaring umabot sa pagitn ng 30 hanggang 122 kaso sa kahalintulad na panahon.
Nilinaw din ni Vergeire na hindi naman nila sinasabi na mangyayari talaga ang kanilang projections.
Paliwanag pa niya, ginagamit ito ng pamahalaan upang magkaroon ng mas mahusay na plano sa kanilang pandemic response. ###
