5.2 na lindol, tumama sa Eastern Samar ngayong gabi

Niyanig ng magnitude 5.2 na lindol ang probinsya ng Easter Samar nitong Lunes ng gabi, Hulyo 10, ayon sa Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

Sa nakalap na datos ng Phivolcs, naganap ang lindol na tectonic ang pinagmulan bandang 9:01 ng gabi.

Namataan ang epicenter nito pitong (7) kilometro ang layo sa hilagang silangan ng Llorente, Eastern Samar, na may lalim na 56 kilometro.

Naramdaman ang Intensity IV sa City of Borongan, EASTERN SAMAR.

Naitala naman ang Instrumental Intensities sa mga sumusunod na lugar:

Intensity V – Borongan, EASTERN SAMAR

Intensity IV – Dulag, LEYTE; Gandara, SAMAR

Intensity III – Basey and Marabut, SAMAR; Hinunangan, SOUTHERN LEYTE

Intensity II – Can-Avid, EASTERN SAMAR; Villaba, Mahaplag, City of Ormoc, Calubian, and Carigara, LEYTE; Rosario, NORTHERN SAMAR

Intensity I – Albuera, LEYTE; Villareal, SAMAR

Ayon pa sa Phivolcs, asahan na raw ang posibleng aftershokcs ng lindol sa mga lugar na kalapit kung saan ramdam ang lindol.

Pinag-iingat ng Phivolcs ang mga residente sa mga kalapit lugar na sakop ng pagyanig ng lupa. ##
