Teves at 12 iba pa, tinukoy na ‘Terorista’ ng Anti-Terrorism Council

Idineklara ng Anti-Terrorism Council (ATC) sina suspended Negros Oriental Rep. Arnolfo “Arnie” Teves Jr., at labin-dalawang (12) iba pa bilang mga “terorista” dahil sa umano’y mga naitalang pamamaslang at harrassment sa lalawigan ng Negros Oriental.

Ayon sa Resolution No. 43 na inilabas nitong Martes [Agosot 1], nakitaan umano ng “probable cause” para ituring si Teves, kasama ang 12 iba pa, bilang terorista matapos umano silang magkaroon ng paglabag sa ilang probisyon ng Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020.

Ayon pa sa konseho na kasama sa mga tinukoy na paglabag ang “committing terrorism, planning, training, preparing, and facilitating terrorist acts. recruitment and membership in a terrorist organization, as well as providing materials support to terrorists.”

Samantala, nilagdaan ni Executive Secretary Lucas Bersamin, pangulo ng konseho, ang kopya ng resolusyon ng ATC na may petsang Hulyo 26.

Kasama naman ng suspendidong kongresista sa mga itinuring ng ATC na terorista ang mga sumusunod na indibidwal, na umano’y mga miyembro ng “Teves Terrorist Group.”
