Nanawagan ng suporta ng home crowd si coach Chot Reyes sa nakatakdang pagsagupa ng Gilas Pilipinas laban sa Dominican Republic sa opening ng 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup sa Philippine Arena sa Bulacan ngayong Biyernes, Agosto 25.

Aniya, malaking bagay ang magiging presensya ng libu-libong Pinoy fans na inaasagang dadagsa sa venue ng tagisan ng mga kampeonato.

“The crowd will be a big factor to be able to help us,” paliwanag ni Reyes sa pulong balitaan ng FIBA nitong Huwebes.

Samantala, tumanggi si Reyes na pag-usapan ang kanilang tiyansa laban sa Dominican Republic na World No. 23.

Ibabandera ni coach Reyes si NBA star Jordan Clarkson sa nasabing laban, katuwang sina June Mar Fajardo, Kai Sotto at Japeth Aguilar.

Magsisimula ang bakbakan ng Gilas at Dominican Republic ngayong gabi sa ganap na alas 8:00. #RBM
