Over 106,000 OFWs returned home, DOLE says

MANILA- The Philippines Labor department reported on Sunday the government repatriated more than 106,200 overseas Filipino workers and have been sent to their home provinces amid the coronavirus pandemic. According to DOLE’s Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), data showed the latest batch of 2,246 homebound OFWs, who tested negative for COVID 19, returned to their respective provinces on July 25.
