Inanunsyo ng Tacloban City Health Office sa kanilang official Facebook page na ang kanilang nasasakupan ay COVID-Free na. Ito’y matapos ma-discharged ng mga natitira nilang pasyente na kinalaunan ay naka-recover na sa naturang sakit, patunay lamang na ang Tacloban ay zero (0) active case na sa COVID-19 simula kahapon, Hulyo 8, 2020.

Aniya ng lokal na pamahalaan ng Tacloban, muli na silang tatanggap ng mga Locally Stranded Individual (LSIs) at Returning Overseas Filipino Workers (ROFW) sa kanilang lugar. May mga ilang requirements lamang ang dapat ipresenta, ito ay mababasa sa kanilang official FB page.

Samantala, ang Department of Health – Eastern Visayas ay nakapag-ulat ng 11 new confirmed COVID-19 cases at 7 new recoveries. Pumalo na ito sa kabuuang 611 confirmed cases at 493 o 80.69% ang bilang ng mga naka recover sa sakit sa nasabing rehiyon. (Ni Rex B. Molines)
