SULTAN KUDARAT, Philippines — The new camp of the 2nd Maneuver Platoon of the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Mobile Force Company (SKPMFC) is soon to rise in Barangay Datalblao in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat.
Datu Zahir Mamalinta, Al Haj., elected municipal councilor of Columbio town, told DIYARYO MILENYO that the camp will rise inside the 15,000 square meters lot donated by the Barangay Datalblao, under the administration of Barangay Captain Hadja Bai Naila Mamalinta.
Kapitana Mamalinta is the mother of Konsehal Datu Zahir and the wife of the legendary Police General Akmad Mamalinta.
“It will rise beside the barangay hall of Datalblao,” Konsehal Mamalinta said.
Konsehal Mamalinta said the personnel of the SKPMFC, under the supervision of Police Lieutenant Isidro Escobar, helped the carpenters during the construction of the mess hall, toilets, quarters and other physical amenities of the camp.
“We, together with Columbio Mayor Edwin Bermudez, personally visited the camp area to see what help could we possibly extend to the construction,” said Konsehal Mamalinta, who chaired the Committee on Peace and Security, Dangerous Drugs and Public Order. (RAMIL BAJO)
