
Peso retreats vs. Dollar sa mas pinalawig na ECQ

NANGHINA ang piso laban sa greenback o dolyar matapos ipatupad ang extension o pagpapalawig ng enhanced community quarantine sa NCR Plus at kalapit na mga lalawigan nitong Lunes, (Abril 5) ayon sa isang eksperto sa panalalapi.
Nitong Lunes, natapos ang kalakalan sa P48.635 kada dolyar, na nadagdagan ng 10.5 centavos mula sa P48.53, ang datos na ito ay mula sa Bankers Association of the Philippines.
Kaya naman, suspendido ang kalakalan nitong nagdaang Holy Week holidays.
Binuksan naman ang piso sa P48.55, pinakamahina nito sa P48.64 habang ang intraday o ‘buying and selling stocks’ sa pinakamainam na palitan na P48.488 kada dolyar.
Sinabi ni Mr. Michael L. Ricafort, chief of economist of Rizal Commercial Banking Corp., na pinakamahina ang palitan ng piso dahil sa risk-off factor matapos ang extension ng lockdown sa Metro Manila at kalapit probinsya mula Abril 5 hanggang Abril 11. #DM
