
Principal thanks Rep. Hernandez for initiating a new gymnasium project for their school in Koronadal City

KORONADAL CITY (Region 12), Philippines — The faculty and students of a public high school here took to social media to express their gratitude to Deputy Speaker for Mindanao and South Cotabato 2nd District Rep. Atty. Ferdinand “DINAND” Hernandez.
Jenny L. Castre, principal of the Marbel 7 National High School in Barangay Topland of this city, said Rep. Hernandez has been a good supporter of their school for many years.
“The whole community of Marbel 7 National High School, both JHS (Junior High School) and SHS (Senior High School) is forever grateful to Congressman Dinand L. Hernandez for his unending support to the school,” Castre said in a statement sent yesterday evening to DIYARYO MILENYO via its Mindanao based in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat province.
The statement was sent by Mark Friende Calixton Carbon, admin and moderator of the school’s social media page “DepEd Koronadal Marbel 7 National High School.”
Principal Castre said Rep. Hernandez has been consistently supporting the needs of their school. “This is not the first time that the beloved Congressman granted our request through Hon. Maria Angelika C. Bermil,” Castre said.
She also thanked Kapitana Bermil for always extending her arms to help the school.
Castre thanked Rep. Hernandez for granting the school’s request, through Kapitana Bermil, for a new gymnasium.
The said new gymnasium worth P2.3-M is expected to be completed on January 2021.
Castre said a total of 1,508 high school students of Marbel 7 National high School would be benefiting the new gymnasium, which was constructed through the initiative of Congressman Hernandez.
