Hindi baba sa 17 Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT3) tren ang ibinalik sa serbisyo matapos limitahan ang serbisyo nito bunsod ng hawaan ng COVID-19 sa mga tauhan ng naturang ahensya.

Inanunsyo ni Transportation Undersecretary Timothy John Batan sa briefing na Laging Handa nitong Biyernes [Abril 23], na ang operasyon ng MRT-3 ay paunti-unti nang bumabalik sa normal nitong operasyon mula ng limitahan ng Department of Transportation dahilan ng pagtaas ng kaso ng COVID-19 sa kanilang hanay.

“Nagbaba sa 12 trains nung week after Holy Week. So sa kasalukuyan 17 to 18 ang tumatakbong trains” saad ni Batan.

Aniya, nagsagawa ang DOTr ng mass testing sa mga manggagawa nito upang masiguro na hindi magiging dahilan ito ng hawaan ng virus.

Matatandaan na nilimitahan ng MRT3 ang kanilang serbisyo sa 10 hanggang 12 tren ang kanilang pinapatakbo na may limitadong bilang na 372 passengers per train. #DM
