KORONADAL CITY, Philippines –– A lawmaker based here is helping small businessmen in South Cotabato province by endorsing what they are selling, an act that earned him praises from the netizens and the community of business starters.

Ronilo Blanca, a former OFW [Overseas Filipino Worker] who worked as “chef” in Saudi Arabia, thanked South Cotabato 2nd District Rep. Atty. Ferdinand “DINAND” Hernandez for personally visiting his “Chef Ronie’s Burgy” located in Posadas Street in Barangay Zone 111 in this city and for proudly endorsing his “tasty burger.”

Rep. Hernandez, who is also one of the Deputy Speakers of the House of the Representatives, said he received a message from his social media messenger from Chef Roni, inviting him to personally try his “specialty burgers.”

Hernandez said in a statement posted in his Facebook account.

The South Cotabato–lawmaker said he positively responded to the invitation of Chef Roni. Rep. Hernandez went to the store of Chef Roni after personally visiting and inspecting his infrastructure projects in various parts of the province.

Hernandez said.

In his personal talk with him, Rep. Hernandez learned that Chef Roni worked for more than six years in Saudi Arabia and in 2019, he decided to go back in the  Philippines, where he built his “Chef Ronie’s Burgy” in Koronadal City.

Hernandez.

Rep. Hernandez proudly endorsed the “tasty burgers” of Chef Ronie in his Facebook account that reportedly got praises from the netizens and his thousands of followers.

Rep. Hernandez said. #DM
