3 former Miss Universe winners to host MUPH 2022 coronation night

Miss Universe 2015 Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, Miss Universe 2016 Iris Mittenaere, and Miss Universe 2017 Demi Leigh Peters-Tebow will be hosting in this year’s edition of Miss Universe Philippines (MUPH) coronation night, The organization announced Saturday, March 26.

“#UniquelyBeautiful meets #ConfidentlyBeautiful. You’re in for a phenomenal show, Universe! Introducing our hosts for the Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Finals, April 30, at the SM Mall of Asia Arena!” MUPH said in a Facebook post.

The MUPH is set to announce its official Top 30 candidates who will compete on April 30 after the series of preliminary challenges.

Past challenge winners are Ghenesis Latugat from Baguio City for Fashion and Runway Challenge, Isabel Luche from Mandaue City for Headshot Challenge, Pauline Amelinckx from Bohol for Introduction Video Challenge, and Ma. Katrina Llegado from Taguig for the Swimsuit Challenge.

Recently, the organization released its Casting Video Challenge on KUMU and YouTube. Voting is ongoing in the Miss Universe Philippines app.

The current Miss Universe Philippines is Beatrice Luigi Gomez from Cebu City and Top 5 finalist in Miss Universe 2021. ##
